1. Introduction
Welcome to the Venters Venting App ("we," "our," "us"), created by SVonComs Ltd, trading as ("T/A") Venters Venting. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application ("app"), which provides confidential call handling, a status-sharing feeds function, and a private chat feature. By using our app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our app.
This agreement outlines the terms, conditions, disclaimers, notices, policies, and agreements that apply when you access and use any function, feature, or service of our mobile application, including the Venters Venting Apps website, Ventersventing.com. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that this is a legally binding agreement between you and SVonComs Ltd, trading as ("T/A") Venters Venting.
2. User Accounts
2.1 Registration
You must create an account to use our app. You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete information during registration. You must be at least 18 years old and a “natural person” in your country of residence. You agree to keep your account information up to date, accurate, and complete.
2.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us of any unauthorised access to your account by contacting Support@svoncoms.atlassian.net. We reserve the right to deactivate or terminate your account without notice if we deem it necessary due to a security breach or terms violation.
3. Listening and Venting Services
Our service is not intended for emergency use. The Venters Venting Apps listeners are not trained or equipped to assist anyone in crisis. Any call or chat that is deemed a crisis will be terminated immediately and reported internally. If you are thinking about suicide, feel that you may be a danger to yourself or others, or have any medical emergency, please immediately call 999 or 112 (or the appropriate emergency number in your country) and notify the police or emergency medical services.
3.1 Listener Service and Quick Vent
By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that listeners are neither employees, agents, nor representatives of SVonComs Ltd T/A Venters Venting. SVonComs Ltd T/A Venters Venting assumes no responsibility for any act or omission of any listener. Venters Venting is not a professional listening or therapy service, and we do not verify any skills, qualifications, or competence of listeners. You are responsible for verifying any claims made by listeners and assessing whether they are appropriate for your needs. SVonComs Ltd T/A Venters Venting takes no responsibility for the listener's ability or willingness to give advice, nor for the quality or relevance of any advice given.
3.2 Call Privacy
Our app allows users to make confidential calls. We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining call confidentiality. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed, and we advise using discretion when making confidential calls.
3.3 User Responsibility
App users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the call feature complies with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use this feature for unlawful purposes or to harass, abuse, or harm other users. Listeners must keep discussion content confidential.
3.4 Feeds Function
Our app includes a status news feed function where users can share content with the Venters Venting community. This information is public across the app, and you rely on any advice or comments at your own risk. You retain ownership of your posted content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, and publicly display such content in connection with the app. It is your responsibility not to share any personal or sensitive information.
3.5 Prohibited Content
You agree not to post, discuss, or message content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, infringes others' rights or violates laws, regulations, or rules. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable and to take further action if needed.
3.6 Use of Private Chat
Our app includes a private chat feature. You agree to use this feature responsibly and not to send messages that are unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
3.7 Data Privacy
We strive to protect your private chat messages, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed. We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information through the chat function or calls. If we detect suspicious or potentially harmful activity, we will review the information shared to conduct quality control, address safety concerns, and prevent misuse. 4. Payments to Listeners

4.1 Listener Earnings
Certain users ("Listeners") receive payments for taking calls through the app. Listeners set their rates, but terms are set by us and are subject to change. Listeners will be informed of the applicable rates and any rate changes.
4.2 Payment Terms
Payments to listeners will be processed according to the payment schedule and method specified in their account settings. Listeners are responsible for ensuring their payment information is accurate and up to date.
4.3 Taxes
Listeners are responsible for determining and fulfilling their tax obligations associated with payments received through the app. We do not withhold taxes on behalf of listeners.
4.4 Disputes
Any payment disputes should be directed to our support team at Support@svoncoms.atlassian.net. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes promptly.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, service marks, logos, code, interfaces, images, sounds, videos, and other intellectual property displayed on the app are the property of SVonComs Ltd T/A Venters Venting or and its licensors. You agree not to use any intellectual property without our prior written consent.
6. Termination
These Terms are in effect from the date you first agree to them until terminated. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise inappropriate. Upon termination, you must cease using all services provided by SVonComs Ltd T/A Venters Venting, and you agree not to reattempt the use of the app under any other name. Any violation of this restriction after termination will make you liable to indemnify and hold us harmless from all resulting liabilities.
7. Disclaimers
Our app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the app. You acknowledge and agree that your use of the Venters Venting App is done at your own sole risk.
9. Changes to Terms
We have the right to modify these Terms at any time as our services evolve. When these Terms are modified, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on the Venters Venting App via email. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend reviewing the Terms with each change to ensure alignment.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
